Beer & Heritage Training

More context for the company as a whole

Beer is the result of a very sequential, highly monitored process and few companies have been producing beer on the same scale as Anheuser-Busch for this long. During my time as an intern, I sought additional training outside logistics with a few other trainees. I had the opportunity to take a deep dive into the brewing process, in addition to learning about beer pairing, keg maintenance, and proper pour technique. The training also covered the history of AB and all brewing trends since the mid 1800s.

Hands-on Training

Greater understanding of our processes

I began my internship with 8 weeks of training in the plant, working alongside workers in all departments. Understanding from personal experience the concentration and skill necessary to do the job of our production workers allowed me to better offer suggestions for process improvement. When asked by the production manager what I would like to learn about precast, I responded, "Everything you will teach me."
